Service Description
The Seikologist accepts 10 watches per month for complete overhaul. Each slot is for one watch only. These are fully inclusive prices — $1,200 CAD for automatic overhauls, $1,400 CAD for chronographs — confirmed at intake once your watch model is known. The $300 deposit paid at booking is applied directly to the cost of your service. Every service includes new movement parts as needed, gasket kit and crown rebuilds, and a barrel jewel upgrade as standard where required. Full dismantling, cleaning, lubrication, timing and adjustment, case and bracelet cleaning, electronic water resistance testing, and a week on the test bench before return are all included. Before and after photographs, timing data, water resistance results, and power reserve performance come with every watch. All work carries a 12 month warranty. Some parts fall outside the inclusive price — such as chronograph runners or costly Grand Seiko and King Seiko components — but these will always be quoted and approved before any work proceeds, and this is on the rare side. Optional work such as crystals, dials, and hand re-lume is quoted separately. Turnaround is approximately 4 weeks from receipt of your watch.

Cancellation Policy
A non-refundable deposit of $300 CAD is required to secure your bench slot. This deposit is applied directly to the final cost of your service — it is not an additional fee. By completing this booking you acknowledge that the deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances. Full payment of the service balance is required before work begins. A invoice for the remaining balance will be sent once your watch is received and the model is confirmed. Your watch must be shipped with tracking provided within 10 days of the first of the month your slot is booked for. For example, if you hold a July slot, your watch must be shipped no later than July 10th. Failure to ship within this window will result in forfeiture of your slot and the deposit is retained. Slots cannot be transferred to another month. In the rare event that I am unable to complete work due to illness, injury, or unforeseen circumstances beyond my control, I will contact you directly and offer either a full deposit refund or transfer to the next available slot — your choice.
